Micromass™ Microporous Ceramic

Our microporous ceramic technology, Micromass™, is patented. It was developed in response to customer enquiries for light weight, high strength, low thermal mass and excellent thermal shock ceramics. It is available in a broad range of formulations.

Average pore size will be 100-150 microns and pores per inch around 450.

Modulus of Rupture (MOR) will be 4000 psi at room temperature, and 1300 psi at 1500°C.

Micromass™ applications in fuel cell systems will include humidification and moisture control devices, gas filtration and burner componentry.

Micromass™ is available in two variants specifically tailored for catalyst support (LMCS) and kiln furniture (LMKF).
